Turtle Bay East, Maternity Session

Spring is definitely in the air here in Redding. Especially at a location like Turtle Bay East. It’s finally nice enough to enjoy the warm sunshine and lush greenery while taking in all the views. And that’s exactly what we did during this session.

Lalana, the mom-to-be, was an absolute trooper. You may not believe it, but she was 37 weeks pregnant during our shoot! She embraced each moment of the session with such grace and a radiant glow. We walked all over Turtle Bay and she even climbed over rocks in the river for some photo ops. The reflection shots are some of my favorites!

I’m so thankful that I got to photograph their joy and excitement right before they entered into this new chapter of their lives. It was definitely a celebration of her strength, love, and the beauty of motherhood!
