Winters, CA, Almond Blossoms Family Session

My story with this family actually began last winter when we made plans for an engagement session on the almond orchard. Fun fact, this beautiful family lives on the orchard. Talk about a beautiful place to call home and an even more special place to have your session! Unfortunately, the weather made it so difficult to coordinate a session during the very short window of blooms.

This amazing couple actually got married last summer! So, fast forward to this year, they eagerly agreed to swap their engagement session for a family session with the almond blossoms. And I am so glad we did. It was a gorgeous day and we had such a blast together! Their dogs even got in on the fun as they ran around the orchard.

Sessions like these always remind me that it’s okay if an original plan doesn’t work out. Especially because the second, unexpected option is very likely just as beautiful as the original. And having a pretty spot like the blossoms is definitely really great too!
