Lema Ranch, Redding Extended Family Session

The fall colors were on full display at Lema Ranch and seemed tailor-made for capturing the love this family has for one another and the spirit of the upcoming festive season. I couldn’t believe our luck that this was the one day the entire family could get together for a photo session, and the one day of the week it didn’t rain! Laughter filled the air as the cousins played and explored around Lema Ranch. When we were finishing up and boys all scrambled up a tree, it seemed like the perfect photo to capture their carefree spirits.

Family. That’s the most important thing. And that’s my takeaway from the session. No matter how silly or chaotic your session feels — like your kiddos climbing a tree or your littles running around — capturing the here and now of your family is so special. So, as we approach Thanksgiving and Christmas, I hope we all can remember the importance of family, the beauty of shared moments, and the magic that comes with the holiday season. It's a time for gratitude, reflection, and creating lasting memories with our loved ones.
